Our Story
Iconik M. began with a family ritual and a simple wish: to bring back a forgotten favourite, the apéritif basket from our family homes.
It all starts in our family home in the Cantal, in central France. The apéritif is a ritual: a time to come together and let the pace of the day slow down. At its heart is always the same object — a wicker basket, carefully prepared and brought to the table.
My roots connect France and Morocco. Another part of my family grew up in Morocco, where gathering together has its own rituals and objects, and that same instinct for making shared moments special. When I settled in Marrakech, I wanted to bring this forgotten basket back to life, using the materials and skills of local artisans.
Together with my brother Victor, we designed the first prototypes. I shape the artistic direction; he refines the proportions. We test and adjust until every detail feels right.
Each basket is handcrafted under my supervision, in limited series, by a network of skilled artisans.
Iconik M. is a French-Moroccan brand celebrating the simple, elegant and lively art of hosting we grew up with. It brings together two family stories, two traditions of craftsmanship and two ways of welcoming people.
